Thank you players, parents, and hockey fans for visiting our site. We are the WOODBRIDGE WARRIORS SPECIAL HOCKEY team with a proud history and an exciting future.
A BIT ABOUT US In 2003 Kevin Fee, Mike Pickett and John Eberhardt started the Warriors Sled Hockey team, a team for children with disabilities from the waist down.
A few years latter a gentleman named Tom Brake convinced John Eberhardt that Woodbridge could support both Sled Hockey and a new Special Hockey team. The joint effort of Mike Pickett, John Eberhardt, Dan Osborne, and Mike and Andrew Shapiro, and Jon Schwartz started the process of making a team . . . the Wolfpack Special Hockey Team.
From a shakey start the team is now a viable member of the AMERICAN SPECIAL HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (ASHA) and host the annual ASHA North/East Camp at their house.
This year the camp was once again be at "Our House", the Woodbridge Community Center at 600 Main Street, Woodbridge, NJ. With the help of our Mayor John E. McCormac were able to offer the camp to hundreds of youngsters in the American Special Hockey Association program in the North East.
Each player gives his or her best at each practice and at each game to learn the game of ice hockey as an individual and to work as a team. This group of young athletes work together as a team, enjoy the fun of competition, and - most importantly- grow together.
It is important that we remember that one of the keys to the success of this Woodbridge Warrior team is the dedication of all our Youth Coaches . .
